Social Media Marketing and Blogging - Paid Internship

Are you hungry? That's what we're looking for here at Fusionbox – someone who is passionate about writing and wants to become the next social media maverick. We'll provide the training if you're prepared to learn and apply those skills to our growing list of clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Writing/editing quality blog posts/articles for Fusionbox and clients based on specific instructions and branding.
- Promoting of said posts/articles on article submission sites like Digg and StumbleUpon. Spammers need not apply – we're looking for active participation and interaction.
- Assisting in the development of innovative social media campaigns. You won't be expected to create these on your own, but you should be researching suggestions and providing your unique input and perspective.
- Executing social media tactics, including updating Facebook and Twitter accounts in order to increase Fans/Followers and promote brand interaction and appreciation.
- Personal participation in social media as a representative of Fusionbox.
- Keeping up on the latest trends and technologies in social media as apply to our clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- English or Mass Communications degree OR proven experience with writing/blogging with professionalism and personality. Candidates with degrees in progress are welcome to apply.
- An established interest in technology, social media and blogs like Techcrunch, Mashable and the Oatmeal.
- Solid marketing knowledge.
- Strong initiative and a “go-get-em” attitude.
You don't need to be a “guru” in social media for this position, but we are seeking a candidate with extremely strong writing skills and a passion for learning and, ideally, technology.
