Community Involvement

Adolfson & Peterson Construction employees believe in the power of volunteerism to better our communities and our world. Every year hundreds of A&P employees give thousands of hours of time, talents and energy to charitable organizations around the country.

Construction Career Training Program

The Construction Career Training Program (CCTP), established by David Adolfson is a collaboration of 22 faith-based and secular partners providing construction industry job opportunities and community support for well screened ex-offenders.

MS 150

Since 2001, A&P has participated in the annual MS 150 two-day bike ride starting in Duluth, MN to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

March of Dimes WalkAmerica

Each year A&P matches the monies raised by employees throughout the company for the March of Dimes WalkAmerica and supports at team for the Denver WalkAmerica event. The funds raised by this event are used to support the March of Dimes mission of preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

Christmas Crusade for Children

Each year A&P employees support our local police force's Christmas Crusade for Children, providing gifts and cash donations to fill the holiday wishes of needy children.

Bonfils Blood Center

Over the past five years, A&P has been proud to sponsor an annual blood drive for the Bonfils Blood Center, encouraging employees, their family and friends, as well as many of our subcontractors to donate.

West Valley Child Crisis Center

A&P supports the West Valley Child Crisis Center through hands on volunteer efforts. The WVCCC is a safe, nurturing, home-like environment staffed by quality care providers that provides temporary shelter for children who are victims of abuse, neglect or abandonment. The Center interacts with the community to increase awareness of, and work to prevent, the cycle of child abuse.

Gabriel's Angels

A&P employees donate hundreds of volunteer hours each year to support Gabriel's Angels, an extraordinary organization that provides healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at-risk children. The program nurtures the children's ability love and trust and helps to free them from the cycle of violence.

Wycliffe Associates

A&P supports our employee volunteers as they give of their time to construct buildings for Wycliffe Bible Translators, an organization committed to providing access to Scriptures to everyone in the language they understand best.
