Sustainability is a key focus area for A&P —
- from building sustainable buildings
- to minimizing the environmental impact of our operations
- to supporting public policies which promote market-driven solutions to manage our scarce natural resources
Building "green" buildings is nothing new to A&P; we have partnered with our clients to build some of the most recognizable sustainable projects in our markets. With over 50 LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professionals on staff, A&P specializes in helping clients create facilities that minimize energy usage and environmental impact with reasonable and cost-effective sustainability practices.
From water conserving plumbing fixtures in offices to the fleet of hybrid vehicles driven by staff members (including A&P's President) we have taken environmental responsibility and woven it into the company's culture. Job site recycling, emissions reduction programs, energy saving electrical fixtures and the use of natural lighting throughout the offices are just some of the many A&P initiatives to reduce waste and promote environmental responsibility.
