Freeborn County Government Center

Location: Albert Lea, Minnesota

Client: Freeborn County
Design Partners: Boarman Kroos Vogel Group

The Freeborn County Government Center project included the restoration of an existing 1888 historical courthouse as well as the demolition of a 1954 building and reconstruction of the 1974 jail. The 158,000 square foot government center includes 3 courtrooms, a law enforcement center, enclosed parking garage for emergency vehicles, and a 110-bed jail.
