The Edward Jones Office building addition houses a center that is setup to operate 24-7 and handle the transfer of all operations from the company's St. Louis location. The 100,000 square foot addition employs redundant technology for data, electrical and mechanical systems. LEED® strategies where employed during the construction of the facility. Energy efficient lighting is used throughout the facility with daylight controlled perimeter lighting and photovoltaic cells that control interior lighting. Interior, motorized blinds and screens on exterior windows that automatically function based on heat/light are also utilized for energy efficiency. Another LEED® strategy is the use of effluent water for landscaping.
