The Tempe Marketplace is a 117 acre Vestar development in the heart of the city. The development includes over 1.3 million square feet of retail space and will have more than 100 retailers, restaurants and businesses upon completion. Tenants include: Cingular Wireless, Finish Line (sporting goods), Francesca's Collection (jewelry), Ghenghis Grill, No Fear, Quicksilver, Sketchers, TCF Bank, Tealuxe (tea bar and café), Urban Angels and US Bank. The Marketplace includes an entertainment center, outdoor amphitheater, 100-foot laser tower providing night-time visuals, elevated patios, misters, outdoor fireplaces, and numerous fountains. The project's positive economic impact on the community-at-large is substantial.
