Low

Some Denver SEO company categorized our site on Stumble as porn. Are competitors that vicious and desperate just because we have higher search engine ranking than they do (especially when all these companies do is SEO and they still can't get good organic ranking)?

We believe there is plenty of work to go around and that clients should have a great fit and great relationship with their firm. We often send work to other companies that does not fit our core competencies.

We also have great relationships with some of our competition. There are some good firms in Denver, doing really good work. There are also some incredibly bad firms who don't know what they are doing and give our industry a bad name. At least once a week I get a call from someone who has had a terrible experience with their Denver web design or development company. Some of the stories are just incredible. Then we take a look at the work they have done and can't believe the poor unsuspecting client fell for it. But then I remember that many clients don't know much about web design and web development; they shouldn't have to. It's the firms job to communicate technical subjects to a non-technical audience. It's also the web firm's job to communicate, collaborate and even comfort. I'd like to think we do that quite well at Fusionbox. Of all our design and development, what we are most proud of is our customer service. When we can help a client who has been conned by another web company, when they trust and rely on us, and when they are thrilled with the end result-- that's when we've done our best work.

<End Rant>
