Web Site Strategy
Before our designers start playing with color, and before our developers even think about creating your database, Fusionbox creates a custom website and search engine marketing strategy that serves as the master plan for your web site. Your site strategy includes:
- Objective - The very first step in creating a successful web site is to determine the client's objective. The objective will drive the end results of your site whether you are looking to increase sales, build brand awareness, or gather feedback from your customers. Think of your site objective as your web sites mission statement; it should steer every decision you make in the creation of your site.
- Target Audience Analysis - Fusionbox conducts a detailed analysis of your target audience including who they are, what their motivations are, and what they are looking for on your site. Determining your target audience will drive all your goals and objectives for your site.
- Content Strategy - Your content should achieve a number of goals besides just communicating. It needs to sell your product, capture leads, speak to your target audience, and make the best use of your keywords. Fusionbox develops a complete content strategy that will determine the tone of the writing, the calls-to-action, your keywords and how they will be used and an inventory of your site's content. Think of it as a style sheet for your web site.
- Information Architecture - An intuitive site architecture is so important to a successful web site. If a user cannot navigate your site to find what they are looking for, they're gone, and so is the opportunity to make a sale. Fusionbox will create a full site architecture that represents an intuitive information flow and that will get your users to the good stuff right away whether it's filling out a request for a quote, or buying that widget.
- Design Strategy - Once you've determined your site architecture, it's important to give the designer a guideline for the design that will support that architecture. Our Design Strategy will dictate what the look and feel of your site is, how the menus will work, and how information should be organized visually on the page.
- Wireframes - A wireframe is a basic layout of every single page on your web site. A wireframe will tell the designer exactly what goes where, and gives the client an opportunity to run through the navigation to ensure that it meets your usability standards. The creation of wireframes is a great way to do a beta test for the site before our designers and developers get started and to make sure that you get buy-in from all of the decision makers.
