Social media marketing campaign for a new music and travel television series.

When the Music Voyager was launching a new music and travel TV series, they came to Fusionbox to create a Social Media Marketing campaign to drive up traffic to their site for a specific project titled: the “Road to a GRAMMY”.  The producers, Tantra, teamed up with The GRAMMYs ® and profiled several nominated artists, giving their fans a backstage pass as they prepared for awards night.

The campaign that Fusionbox put together included sophisticated use of YouTube, Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook. We built a  YouTube channel to host and organize exclusive content from behind the scenes that we linked to from all of the other accounts. We used Twitter to host contests and giveaways that built a following for Music Voyager and raised brand awareness for their sponsor. We also allowed fans to send in questions for their favorite artists. Answers were then posted across the social media outlets. All accounts were used to generate conversation and interact with fans, generating buzz for the Music Voyager series.

We achieved the following results in less than two months:

  • Over 124,000 views on YouTube
  • 10,500 friends on MySpace
  • 9,300 followers on Twitter
  • 2,650 fans on Facebook
