Alexander Groth is the Founder & President of Fusionbox, Inc. Seeing the need for a focused and talented web design and development company with exceptional technical and customer service, Alexander started Fusionbox in 2002 . Alexander holds a Bachelor’s from UC Berkeley and a Master’s from Johns Hopkins University. Fusionbox has ranked number five on the the list of top web design and development companies in the Denver Business Journal two years in a row. Every year Alexander donates Fusionbox’s services to at least one charitable non-profit such as Arts-Street, Sherpa Memorial Foundation and OurEarth.org.

Ivy Hastings, Account Manager, is an Internet Marketing Strategist at Fusionbox and has over ten years of experience in the field. Ivy has helped organizations such as National Geographic, Visiting Nurse Association, The Children’s Museum in Denver and Stanford University grow their businesses by harnessing the power of social media, internet marketing, and search engine marketing. Prior to Fusionbox, Ivy worked at an Internet start-up, Across Media Networks, where she managed the design and development teams for a 30-million dollar project. Ivy holds a degree from the University of California at Berkeley and sits on the Board of Directors for Arts Street, a non-profit in Denver.

Karen Pacyga is the Fusionbox Project Manager. From an architecture student to designing websites, form follows function. Karen sees the details and is able to direct a project from beginning to end. Before joining Fusionbox Karen created advertising campaigns for The Lodge Casino and engaged a 50 production team. Karen spends most of her time with Paisley, her 9-year-old yellow lab. She has volunteered at the Denver Dumb Friends League and the Denver Botanic Gardens.

Shreve Roberts is the newest member of the Fusionbox family. As Account Manager, Shreve’s extensive marketing background ranges from major record label recording artists to non-profits and educational institutions. Shreve also brings over a year of online marketing and web development. One of her greatest profession achievements is raising over $1.6 million for the Children’s Hospital in Denver during the 2008 Alice 105.9 Radiothon.

Justin Stollsteimer, Lead Designer at Fusionbox, earned a B.S. in Computer Science before entering the design field, giving him unique insight into the minds of a programmer and an end-user employing a “usabilty first” approach to website design. Justin created the successful redesign of Morris Animal Foundation’s website, and recently received a 2008 Interactive Media “Gold” Award for his work on Superior Energy Services’ website. Justin has been with Fusionbox for nearly three years, previously working as an email and web designer in the retail industry.

Casey McAllister, Fusionbox Designer, is a music producer, musician, and graphic designer in New Orleans, and not always in that order. He’s mostly worked in print and branding. Casey art directed and launched two magazines in Baton Rouge before moving to New Orleans in 2005 and concentrating on branding. For New Orleans’ venerable Preservation Hall, he updated all visual elements and created a viable, yet traditional aesthetic, which carries through all identification, advertising, merchandise and CDs. Casey has since found that he prefers the more immediate environment of the web, and has been with Fusionbox since the fall of 2008.

Peregrin Marshall, Lead Developer, was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska.
He has been developing/designing websites for over 10 years and been with Fusionbox for nearly a year. Peregrin encompasses a broad skill set including business strategy, programming, graphic creation/manipulation and search engine marketing. During his free time, Peregrin has created several websites for non-profit organizations related to his children’s education.

Mike Vallano, SEO Specialist, holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and has over eight years of experience in marketing and web management. Mike gained non-profit experience while he worked at Junior Achievement as special events and marketing manager for three years. While there, he was responsible for fundraising, marketing and web management. Mike redesigned the JA web site, which was won an award as one of the top three JA branch sites out of over 100 entered. Mike has continued to gain web and marketing skills from both a client and agency side and knows first-hand the importance of delivering outstanding results, and is dedicated to ensuring client success.

Colin Thomas-Arnold, PHP Developer for three years, has been part of the Fusionbox team for one year. Colin has developed several open source tools including, database connection and content delivery, Worm and FBMVC, respectively. He spent three years studying Japanese in Kyoto while living in Nara with a host family. For two years, Colin was an English teacher in Nagoya teaching over 80 kids a week. Colin’s fondest memory is his work at a Japanese orphanage, mostly just playing but also teaching English to some kids who had been abandoned by their Malaysian/Indian English-speaking parents.

Paul Eastwood is the XHTML Production Specialist at Fusionbox, leveraging 5 years of experience with XHTML and CSS, training in visual design both for web and print, as well as an uncanny understanding of Web culture and website usability. In 2008 he worked with the staff of the Rapides Parish Library to design a new website, for which he developed an innovative new menu system to facilitate usability.

Kevin Healey, Business Development Manager, is the dinosaur of the Fusionbox team. His 28 years of experience in sales and marketing uniquely qualifies him as our manager for Business Development. His background is as varied as a stock and commodities broker, to a contractor, to an owner of a new car dealership. This diversity has proven invaluable to our customers as he helps them identify solutions that tailor fit their exact needs.

Angelo Lakra is the Fusionbox PHP Developer with an extensive background in control systems, computer architecture and computer science which lends itself well to building applications for the web. I have over 10 years building dynamic web sites and 3 years deploying critical embedded applications for water control systems for Siemens. I enjoy learning new programming languages. I love where I work and what I do.

Aaron Bach, Intern of All Trades, is a graduate MBA student at the University of Denver. He enjoys nearly every aspect of web development and has on several occasions (1) reduced PHP to a pile of smoldering rubble, (2) styled beautiful works of art in Photoshop, and (3) tried his best to fully comprehend the beauty that is jQuery. At Fusionbox, Aaron is involved in everything from SEO and internet marketing to web development.

Paula Lee, SEO & HTML Production is a junior attending Metropolitan State College of Denver majoring in Digital Art. Her role at Fusionbox is multifaceted indeed, as she gets involved in everything from search engine optimization and HTML editing to online PR. She enjoys organizing and has a great interest in learning about programming and advancing her knowledge in new technology. Paula is proud to be a part of the alumni association of Arts Street, a Denver nonprofit that trains our future creative workforce.
