Fusionbox Attends Habitat for Humanity's Raise the Roof Gala

As a thank you for our pro bono redesign and marketing of their new website, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver offered the Fusionbox team a table at the Raise the Roof Celebration event. The guests of honor, former President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter, chose the Denver neighborhood of Globeville for the 2013 Carter Work Project, which built 11 new homes and renovated 15 more in this struggling community.

The evening included speeches from the CEO of Habitat for Humanity International, President Carter, and country music sensations Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. President Carter pointed out that Habitat for Humanity now builds one house somewhere around the world every four minutes!

President Carter also mentioned that the Metro Denver chapter of Habitat for Humanity is the most organized and well-run chapter he has seen all over the country. Fusionbox is proud to have contributed to the organization and marketing of this wonderful cause through the redesign of their new website, www.habitatmetrodenver.org.

Before leaving, we made sure to sign the wall of the next Habitat for Humanity house. This wooden frame, and all of the hopeful messages written on it, will become a literal and figurative support system for a family in need.
