Fusionbox Live from PubCon - SEO Conference Vegas 2011 Day 1

Posted by fusionbox on Nov. 6, 2011, 5 p.m.

Day One from PubCon,

"the premier new media and optimization conference, [which] began in 2000 as an informal gathering of early Web search engine optimizers and webmasters at a London pub, giving birth to the pub conference." (via http://www.pubcon.com/)

Fusionbox, a Denver SEO, web design & development company, is attending PubCon - so you can expect some interesting new updates from us on the latest and greatest in search engine optimization.

Today opened the conference with some training lessons and a networking event before tomorrow's sessions begin.

The highlight thus far? An SEO celebrity siting: Matt Cutts! He's the head of Google's web spam team, and is known for helping us lowly SEOs into the brain of the big, bad Google.

We didn't want to seem TOO overzealous, so we refrained from taking pictures of him as he talked, so you'll have to make do with this shot we caught of his badge when registering earlier this evening:

He'll be giving the keynote tomorrow morning and you can expect more info from him then.

In the mean time, stay tuned as we update you with more happenings from the world of SEO here at the Fusionbox Blog.
