Targeting the Right SEO Keywords

It is only natural to want to rank well for keywords that get the most searches. Of course you would rather your commercial be shown during the Super Bowl than a high school football game. Chances are you simply can't afford that time slot, the same is true for the most searched keywords. There are so many people going after these keywords that being seen is unlikely.
It is also true that those most searched keywords may not even be good sources of conversions. Sure a lot of people may see your site and click on it, but if it is not what they are looking for they are going to exit the site immediately. This is especially important in a PPC campaign, what is the point of paying for someone to click on your link and then have them leave your site immediately?
The more specific your keywords are to your product the better chance you have of getting a conversion. The key is finding a balance between being specific to your product and whether or not a keyword is ever searched. Keywords specific to what you have to offer not only are easier to rank for, the chances are that if someone clicks on your link they are going to find what they are looking for. Keywords that bring in revenue are essential to any Denver SEO campaign.
